I am Mr. Emmanuel Gyan, the Chief Executive Officer of HillTop Logistics Ltd, a fully registered logistics and shipping company headquartered in Tema, Ghana.

I hail from Yamoransa in the Central Region, where I was born, raised, and began my educational journey. I completed my primary education in Yamoransa and proceeded to Mankessim Secondary Technical School for my secondary education.

Driven by a passion for logistics and maritime operations, I pursued professional studies at ABMA (Association of Business Management and Administrators, UK), earning a Higher Diploma in Shipping and Port Management. I later advanced my education at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), where I obtained a Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of lecturing and mentoring many young professionals in the fields of logistics, shipping, and supply chain management. I have taught at notable institutions including the Institute of Export and Shipping Management, Global Executive Institute, Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management, and the Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders. I also lectured at the Regional Maritime University, within the Shipping and Maritime Department.

Professionally, I have gained extensive experience working with several prominent companies in the logistics and shipping industry — including Sunda Ghana, Kanem Industries, Allship Logistics Ltd, J-Spedi, and Crystal Shipping Company. These roles equipped me with the practical expertise and vision that inspired the creation of HillTop Logistics Ltd.

In 2016, I successfully passed the Customs Proficiency Examination, earning certification that qualified me to establish my own licensed logistics and shipping company. In 2019, HillTop Logistics Ltd was officially founded — beginning operations from a modest container office with a few dedicated staff.

Today, HillTop Logistics has grown into a trusted logistics partner, serving numerous importers and corporate clients across Ghana. We specialize in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, haulage and transportation, project cargo management, and ship supplies — delivering efficient, reliable, and cost-effective logistics solutions.

Mr. Samuel Danso
Senior Administrator / Head of Operations

Mr. Samuel Danso is a seasoned Logistics and Supply Chain Management professional with extensive experience in end-to-end supply chain systems and integrated logistics management.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from the University of Education, Winneba, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). His strong academic background underpins his commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and driving excellence in logistics and supply chain practices.

Mr. Danso is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS). He is also affiliated with the Association of Business Managers and Administrators (UK), the Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders (GIFF), and the Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply (GIPS).

At HillTop Logistics Ltd, Mr. Danso serves as the Senior Administrator and Head of Operations, where he plays a key role in liaising between the company and the Customs, Excise, and Preventive Service (CEPS) to ensure the smooth delivery of quality services to clients. He provides leadership, supervision, and motivation to staff, ensuring strict adherence to operational policies and service excellence.

Since joining HillTop Logistics in January 2023, Mr. Danso has demonstrated exceptional professionalism, dedication, and a results-oriented approach that continue to contribute significantly to the company’s growth and operational success.
